Revamping our goals

We understand we once marketed ourselves to cater to the hunting, outdoors, and fishing markets, but we are now deciding to focus on what we know best - the hunting industry. We're going with our expertise on this one and think it will allow us to bring a better product for our users. The website is currently undergoing some re-branding and restructuring so please bare with us as we find a better way to organize ourselves for the plethora of hunting related gear to come.

Where have we been? Well, we’ve been doing a little spring cleaning. We decided to move a lot of the clutter out of the way so you can focus on the deals (the reason you visit, we got it). We also decided to diversify a little bit. Never mind all that, let’s move on to the new features:

In a continued effort to improve Hunt Outdoor Deals for our users, we plan to consistently roll out with new tools and features, while still providing up-to-the-minute online deals.

What’s New? Instead of creating a new user name, you can now use Facebook Connect to log in with your existing Facebook account. If you already have a Hunt Outdoor Deals account, you can still associate it with your Facebook in your user account settings. For now, this gives you the ability to import your Facebook picture, invite friends on Facebook, view friends who are also using our site, see your current FB status, and have quick access to Facebook. More features are soon to come.

The new Gadget Reviews have been implemented! Check them out frequently for new gear that's revolutionizing the industry. We are also tweaking the site here and there to make the experience better for our users. We will return to adding the price in the title to make sure its visible for our twitter and RSS readers. We will also be adding a new server to the west cost to hopefully speed things up for everyone! We will continue to add new retailers and products every day, however, rest assured that the quantity depends on our user base. The larger we get the more deals we can provide, so only expect the best from us as time progresses.

Navigation: In an effort to make navigation easier, we implemented the option to view deals by your passion (Outdoors, Fishing, Hunting, All). You can now use the TAG CLOUD to view our expanding list of sub-categories for finding specific deals (or search our site!) Thse options are also now available for our RSS Readers as well. We feel this will better help users find what their looking for in a more efficient manner.
